​Welcome to web presentation of "vom Kalidorf " boxer kennel.

 

We are small family kennel located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina. Our journey with boxers began in 2003., when first boxer, HESSI, came to our home. Being charming and clownish as boxers usualy are, she made us going deeper into breed. Since then we bred several litters and made numerous friends in boxer people community worldwide. As we can say from this point of wiev - boxers became our pashion and way of life. Here are some postulates of our breeding vision:

 

1. Our dogs are primarily family members and kept indoor. Our puppies are raised indoor, too, and socialized with kids.

 

2. We feed our dogs and puppies RAW human grade ingredients diet - we do not believe in benefits of industrial pet foods.

 

3. Our dogs have 24/7 veterinary care. We believe boxer is not unhealthy and short life span breed as many people claim, as long as proper breeding selection is done, concerning hereditary issues. And breeding healthy AND beautiful is not impossible.

 

4. Boxer is a working breed. We encourage new owners of our puppies to have all kinds of dog related activities.

 

5. We do not live out of our dogs. Breeding is what makes us happy and not what pays the bills. Therefore, we do not make litters often and we take special care to find suitable new homes to our pups. Also, if we find our dog to be less then we expect from breeding quality, we will not use that dog.

 

6. Big titles are not proof of quality. As we all know, all kinds of people are involved in dog competing. Fake titles, health results and working exams, and also excessive inbreeding  are rapidly taking our breed to destruction. When planning a litter, titles of potential sire are not what we are looking for. We do not breed and show to treat our personal frustrations, and do not buy titles, health results or IPO exams.
